Hiya! My name is Dorreen Augustine, and I’m an American living in England for 19 of the last 24 years, having bounced back and forth once or twice. It’s hard to believe there was once a time I thought 40 was about as old as you could get without being dead. So, even though I’m well past my sell date now, I like to think I’m smarter than I used to be. And probably funnier, since humour is the best way to deal with the perils of age and menopause, a dodgy knee and sciatica. Not that any of that stops me skiing… it is absolutely the ONLY sport for which I have ever shown any sign of proficiency. So be prepared for plenty of wintery posts coming up soon!
I live in a 250+ year old cottage on a hilltop in England with my Handsome Husband (HH) of 30 years. Our children, Darling Daughter and Dutiful Son are both married with lives of their own now, and we even have two amazingly adorable grandsons who form the center of our family universe.
First and foremost, I am a Jehovah’s Witness. (Yes, I do knock on doors!) 🙂 I am also a wife, mother, cuddly Nanny, a reader, a thinker, a dreamer and a storyteller, Margarita expert, singer and entertainer, jam maker extraordinaire, shoenista and serial dieter. I am also mother to two bunnies, one delusional lap dog trapped in the hundred-pound body of a Black Russian Terrier, and 18 chickens with attitude problems. Seriously, they’re a dysfunctional mess.
Hey, thought I would just drop in here to say hello and also to thank you for your continued support of Poetry 101 Rehab since I acted as locus for Mara and then seemed to pick up the job full time….your poems are always uplifting, good to connect, Andy.

Some time ago, you asked about longer stories. Have you thought about publishing them on Wattpad. Then doing a post with short summary and link to wattpad: https://www.wattpad.com/
It seems like it might be perfect for what you want.
