Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.
– Albert Camus
I’ve a streaming head cold today… but this did not stop me from pulling over to take a quick stroll through Hodgemore Woods. We have had the most gorgeous autumn here in Buckinghamshire, with weather only now dipping down toward zero overnight. I thought it prudent to pull out my iPhone 6s Plus and grab a few shots of this spectacular foliage before the winter winds carry it away. For my efforts, I was blessed with a few moments of sunny solitude and a rare, up-close view of sheep littering an autumn pasture. Life is wonderful, head cold and all. ❤
Have a glorious day, Lovelies!

Breathtaking photos, Dorreen! I’m on vacay in the northwest (US) and autumn is almost over. Love this season that doesn’t exist where I live in Southern California! Hope your cold is better. 🍂🍁 Christine

Ooo have a lovely trip!! I always dread when November mushes all these leaves into December’s mud… then no leaves until spring. It’s during that time we quite fancy the climate of southern California…
