Hello my lovelies! Mother Hen is still alive and well, if a little fatigued from the activities of these past two months.
In short, I’ve been happily invaded by two waves of American relatives, traveled to Crete for a few days and Ireland for a few more, been back into London to see the sights (as one does), had my bathroom gutted and refitted, mastered at least basic Italian, and have spent a ton of hours trying to get my garden sorted out. Apart from a major weight gain, a minor nervous breakdown and my usual sleepless 50-year-old chick stuff going on, life has been a breeze, really…
Tonight’s sunset, however, was worth taking the time to photograph! I know many of you have seen this view so many times you probably feel you actually LIVE here, but I pray you will suffer just one more unique sky painting. I hope it makes you as happy as it has made me!
My Inner Comedienne has been back for a visit, so I’ll be writing about her asap, and poor Virgil has yet to receive his first dance or his first kiss, so that is in the pipeline and nearly complete. I hope at least a few of you will stick around to read the conclusion to his tale!
So much to say, so little time…
A dopo, i miei amici!

July 13 is my birthday…. I can’t believe I’m already 41 where you live! I was hoping to enjoy my last month of being 40! 😉

It’s July already. Gee, I knew I was getting forgetful. Now I’ve misplaced a whole month. I am going to have to find that trunk where I hide those days I don’t want to get out of bed.

But I like the title. Somehow it seems appropriate.

So glad to see you back on the chain gang! Have been missing you, then one day checked in and saw THREE (count’em) stories of Amos and was thrilled!!! Now waiting for the next installment and it’s taking SO long (begin whine sequence) but I’m going to be as patient as my ADHD will allow. Carry on.
