Some sunsets are flashes on the horizon, blazing bright and hot and sinking fast into evening. Others are slow-cooked wonders, that creep through your window and tint your world with slashes of pink and peach.
Tonight, my appreciative heart is well painted.

Either way, I believe we should all stop what we’re doing when the sun comes up and goes down. We stand for a judge, and this is much more glorious. I’ve a new rule in soccer practice – we’re to stop what we’re doing and watch the sun set.

An excellent rule, Eli! There are few things more gloriously humbling than the rising and setting sun… Way to teach the kids appreciation! 😊
