Wanting and doing are two different things,
And cash in the bank is what thriftiness brings!
But rainy day savings can hardly compare
With a new pair of shoes I am longing to wear
Today, not tomorrow!
Must I beg, steal or borrow?
I look, I lust, I rationalize hard,
Then open my purse and pull out my card.
I know it’s wrong, I know that I shouldn’t –
I tried to resist them, yet truly, I couldn’t!

Went over to visit the Mother Hen Diaries’ blog and came across this cute poem which I couldn’t resist sharing. Why? Because boy can I relate!

Thank you so much for the reblog, Gale! You are a peach… I truly appreciate it! And it’s nice to know I’m not the only shoe diva out here… 😀

Ah yes indeed!! What a difficult decision when it comes to buying gorgeous shoes !! Your poem was adorable and very witty! Beg, steal or borrow is necessary for shoe-lovers like me too! Though the stealing part is the least desirable of the three:)))
Hope all is well with you! I’m back from a summer break and work beckons me back to the office:( oh well!
All my very best!
