Hear my confession.
Let me speak of regret beyond measure.
Banish the darkness
and swift, pure agony
of anxieties unspoken.
Give me your eyes,
Your ears,
Your lips.
Write my name on your trusting heart,
seven letters scribed in tears.
Absolve.
Forgive.
Seek to forget.
Let us turn the page on this night
and seek out the sunshine
just beyond the horizon.
Can you feel it, my darling?
Can we hold it?
Or will our day slink off to its eternal end?

The photo was stunning and your words heartfelt and so meaningful. This was so good for me to hear, I need to use these words to help lift my spirits up, too.

Either I am a far too emotional person or you are too good of a poet…
I had tears in my eyes….
