Driving home today, I was struck by this glorious sunset and couldn’t wait to get home, don my wellies and sprint across the field to photograph it.
It was actually much better about 5 minutes earlier than this, but there is this annoying thing called a “speed limit,” and even more annoying things called “stoplights”… Apart from that, I can only run so fast across a muddy field in a skirt. Yes, I am quite mad. (I suspect you already knew that!)
But I got my shot!!
In any case, have a restful weekend, my lovelies! Don’t forget to take time to appreciate all the beauty in your own life… if you look hard enough, you will find it is everywhere. xx

Awesome photo! To get something that stunning, I would have to cut down a lot of trees, which would seriously chap my neighbour since they’re his trees blocking the sunset view. I’ll have to leave the fabulous sunset photos to you m’dear!

I’m happy to comply… we have to contend with high winds in this unshelered hilltop, but it is worth it for the views!!! 🙂 xxxx

It’s 9 a.m. and mostly cloudy, but the scribble of branches that the neighbors’ tree (okay, I can only see its top) makes against a gray sky is gorgeous. You’re right: It’s everywhere.

That’s how I love to admire God’s light show, squishing around the pasture in Wellies.
