Well, we have arrived safe and sound in the Aosta Valley of northern Italy for some much needed R&R with our family!
It has thus far been quite a dry winter and though we are longing for a great load of fresh powder, we are not complaining! The runs at Pila are fine, since they are both high and north facing, and our grandsons are getting their ski legs back. Even with massive growth spurts this year, they are skiing like little champs.
PopPop (HH) and I gifted them with remote control cars, and when not on the slopes, the boys are busy racing the Lamborghini against the Celica muscle car, building garages, and generally making plenty of boy noises.
Only in our family are such lines as, “Stop choking your brother!” “No, you may NOT do chin ups on the closet rail!” and “No evisceration before breakfast!” considered completely normal.
I love my life…

Mother Hen Diaries 
Enjoy. I’ve got friends in the Alps and the Dolomites currently and there’s very little snow in either. They’re enjoying the bars more than they’d hoped to be honest. Tis on its way though apparently.

My cousin is working at a resort in the Swiss Alps. A little log cabin bar in the middle of nowhere. And loving every minute of it. 😃
