Saturdays are good mornings for reflection.
They are good mornings for taking the time to serve our God, counting our many blessings and spending time with our loved ones. Saturdays are also good for long coffees by a pub fire, gazing across the whipped cream into the eyes that know us best and love us anyway. In such a reflective state, even the mundane can appear heartrendingly beautiful, as is the case with this pond on West Green, Gerrard’s Cross, Buckinghamshire. Take time to count the cattails and reflect on the magnificence of this beautiful home we call Earth… and the one who made it.
…The God who made the world and all the things in it, being, as he is, Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in handmade temples; nor is he served by human hands as if he needed anything, because he himself gives to all people life and breath and all things. (Acts 17:24, 25)
Happy Saturday, everyone!

Ahhhh….something told me to save this for today and I’m so glad that I did. Nothing like wise words and a beautiful photograph to start a hectic work week.
Thank you, Dorreen!
